Paper wipers are used for rubbing or correcting smears of pastel pencils and crayons, charcoal and drawing charcoal, lead, graphite or coloured pencils.
Using a knife, scalpel or emery board, colour pigment can be specifically placed on a drawing and then rubbed effectively with a paper wiper or
your finger. This technique is ideal for creating structures or larger areas of colour with little effort.
You can refine the colour gradients of your stamp impressions coloured with Polychromos using these paper wipers.
This creates beautiful colour gradients on your work.
